Chainflip: May 2025 Recap
Chainflip’s May 2025 recap: $244M volume, new LP features, FLIP 2.0, and a refreshed website pushing the vision forward.

Despite some bumps in the road, May was a month of real progress.
May wasn’t without its challenges. As with any growing protocol, we faced our fair share of edge cases, and infrastructure hurdles. But through it all, the team kept pushing, and shipped some of the most impactful updates to the protocol to date.
Here’s a closer look at what we got done, where the protocol stands, and what’s coming next.
By the Numbers
The numbers paint a clear picture of continued growth:
- $244 million in total swap volume
- $168,000 in network fees collected
- $336,000 in broker fees generated
This momentum reflects both the growing adoption of Chainflip’s core app and increased activity through integration partners. As new features go live and major routes gain liquidity, it’s upwards from here.
The FLIP 2.0 Proposal
One of the most important milestones this month was the release of the FLIP 2.0 proposal. This new framework rethinks token utility from the ground up. The aim is to flip (?!) the current incentive model into something more sustainable, impactful, and aligned with protocol growth.
It introduces new mechanics that strengthen FLIP’s role in the ecosystem, drive long-term value, and give stakeholders something meaningful to rally behind. It’s a big step toward building a protocol economy that works, and one we’re proud to finally bring to the community for feedback.

Product Releases
Automated Stablecoin Strategies (ASS) went live
Our new stablecoin LP feature launched in May, allowing users to earn from market-making strategies without the complexity. It’s a significant unlock for passive capital, enabling stablecoin holders to access yield by automatically participating in Chainflip’s liquidity provision system.
Early traction has been promising, especially on the arbUSDC route, with more growth expected as users become familiar with the system. There is still more tweaking that does need to be made to make it more efficient for attracting larger capital, but we are on the way.

Integration Progress
A major integration is quietly coming online
While we’re not quite ready to announce it, a high-volume partner has been testing swaps throughout May. If you’ve been paying close attention to the network activity, you might have spotted the signs already. This integration has the potential to significantly increase transaction flow and visibility for Chainflip, and we’re looking forward to sharing more soon.
Website Refresh: Sharpening the Message
As Chainflip grows, we’ve also been refining how we communicate what we do, starting with a gradual redesign of our website.
In May, we launched several updated pages to better highlight our value propositions. The Ecosystem page was the latest addition, showcasing the integrators, partners, and tooling that make the protocol tick.
More importantly, the Liquidity Provision page has become the central hub for LPs — outlining key benefits, available products, and how to get started. This page has already received strong feedback and will continue evolving as we roll out new features.
These changes are just the start. Expect more refinements across the site as we double down on clarity, utility, and getting the right message across to the right audience.
Looking Ahead
What’s coming next is shaping up to be even bigger:
- New integrations are nearing full deployment
- LP features are expanding to include more automation and control
- Improvements to swap routing, execution, and pricing are already underway
Behind the scenes, we’re laying the groundwork for the next chapter of growth, one that connects liquidity across more chains, attracts more volume, and makes Chainflip the go-to infrastructure for native cross-chain swaps.
Thanks to everyone in the community who stuck with us, it wouldn't really be possible without you.
