Chainflip Development Update — Dec 9th 2022

HO HO HO!

Season’s greetings and welcome to this edition of the Chainflip Development update. This one will be short and sweet, despite the three weeks that have elapsed since last time. In the meantime, you may have followed our Live DJ AMA (how many other projects do you know who do this??) and you will already be up to date with the latest from Chainflip-land.

Progress Since Last Update

  • Gathered masses of feedback from our Perseverance testnet. Keep it coming!
  • Squashing bugs!
  • Trawling through logs!
  • Beautification and more feature-fictation of our Staking App and Block Explorer.
  • Setting up our local testing infrastructure for swapping testnet Eth to testnet Dot.

Outlook

Over the next couple of weeks, we hope to complete an internal end-to-end test of our Swapping App. Meaning a swap from testnet Eth to testnet Dot and back again. We’re optimistic we’ll have something to show before long. Christmas is going to come early.

Tis the Season…

… to be busy. I have to admit there’s a lot happening right now and there won’t anything very exciting to report until we finally have the money shot of someone actually swapping some darn tokens. And with that, rather than continue talking I bid you adieu. In the immortal words of Homer Simpson, “Can’t talk, coding”.
