Introducing New Private Ticketing System on Discord & Telegram
Security is foundational to everything we build at Chainflip. As a decentralized cross-chain swap protocol handling real value, we take protecting users seriously at every layer.
Starting today, you can get support through private tickets on Discord or Telegram instead of our old public forum channel.
Why We Made This Change
Our Discord and Telegram communities has grown, and with that came more spam and scam attempts. The old support channel had become a hunting ground for bad actors impersonating staff and phishing users.
We've always said Chainflip will never DM you first, but we realized we could do more than warn people. We could build a system that makes these attacks structurally harder.
How to Get Support
We've built private ticketing on Discord and Telegram. Use whichever you prefer.
Discord: Link to Discord Swapping Support
- Make sure to first join our Discord Community.
- Open a ticket via the panel in the 'swapping-support' channel.
- Only you and our team can see it.
Telegram: Link to Telegram Swapping Support
- Make sure to join our Telegram Community.
- Message @ChainflipSupport_bot on Telegram.
- Use tickets for swap issues, refunds, stuck funds, or anything involving addresses or TX hashes.
Your tickets are completely private on both platforms. We've also removed the old #help-and-support channel on Discord, which had become an open ground for spam and scam attempts.
Chainflip will never DM you first. Never share your seed phrase or private keys.
Why This Matters
Building a secure protocol isn't enough if users get phished while asking for help. Whether you're swapping Bitcoin to Ethereum, moving between EVM chains, or converting native BTC to stablecoins, you shouldn't have to worry about who's watching your support conversation. The new system keeps your transaction details, wallet addresses, and swap history between you and our team.
Coming: Native BTC Lending
We're launching native BTC lending, a way for Bitcoin holders to earn yield without wrapping their BTC or trusting a centralized custodian.
Most Bitcoin yield options today force you into wrapped tokens like wBTC or require you to hand your keys to a centralized platform. Native BTC lending on Chainflip is different. Your Bitcoin stays as native BTC, secured by our decentralized 150-validator network rather than a single company. No wrapped assets, no CEX risk.
This sits alongside our existing swap protocol, which already lets you trade native Bitcoin for ETH, SOL, USDC, and other assets without bridges or wrapped tokens.
